We want to welcome Lindsay Gray from Wax Maven in Edmonton, AB who put out a request on Bark for some minor changes to her current site a couple of months ago. We felt that we would be a good fit so purchased that lead and got in touch with Lindsay to discuss what she needed to have done.
After a quick review of her website, we discovered, as in most cases with busy entrepreneurs, her site had not been maintained on a regular basis. With all the changes that have occurred with WordPress updates, theme changes, php versions, search engine algorithms and much more, she decided to go forward with a complete redesign of www.waxmaven.com to bring it completely up-to-date and mobile-friendly. Just as a quick aside, if your site isn’t mobile-friendly, the search engines can flag your site and it might not be found on-line.
We created a staging site on our preferred hosting company and got to work. Lindsay was so cooperative with us that we were able to get everything up and running in just a few weeks.
After the complementary website maintenance period (30 days after GO LIVE), Lindsay decided that she didn’t want to do the website maintenance herself and retained Web Dezyn Plus to keep everything working on a regular basis. She also included blogging twice a month (she sends us the topics, we do the research, write and post the blog to her website and all her social media accounts.)
