Choosing the "Right" Web Designer or Firm

What does that really mean? From our clients’ perspective (and we asked them), it was finding the web designer who listened carefully to their ideas without interrupting and then thoughtfully responded to them in plain old understandable English. As a web designer who specializes in working with the small entrepreneur or new business trying to get started on the web, we have realized that most of our clients really have little or no concept of what is involved in the process. So based on our experiences with a variety of different businesses looking for our website design services, we have complied a list of things that have to be considered. But first — it should never be about money. Yes, costs and budgets are important but it should not be the most important thing about selecting a designer. There are just too many variables.

Read reviews and testimonials. Better yet, give some of their previous client’s a call!
Interview any potential web designers by phone, Zoom or e-mail.
Look for a balanced approach.
